EY-Parthenon removing LGBT and Native American from Diversity qualifications?
EY-Parthenon just announced their EY-P Connect event, which is a diversity event that gives diverse MBA and undergraduate students accelerated first round interviews ahead of the recruiting process. Last year and the year before, it listed African American, Latin American, LGBT, and Native American as qualifications. This year, it is only for African Americans and Latin Americans.
What’s your question
la banca me convirtió en latino
Si
Yes, native americans were getting a bit too overrepresented in consulting. EY-Parthenon looking forward as always!
Aren't gays no longer oppressed? They make more than normal
By this standard, there are a lot fewer oppressed people than there are complaining asshats.
only white gays (read: male); lesbians, non-white gays and trans make less than population average
Probably read one too many "should I pretend to be gay to get a diversity offer?" posts on WSO
Also probably got sick of Elizabeth Warren's grandkids applying for one
No idea why liking dick or munching on carpet every now and then classified you as "diverse."
I support the removal of LGBT from the classification of "Diversity."
Facts must be that being gay and munching on that dick is so difficult that they have to diverse compared to an immigrant or a low income student.
EY-Parthenon having such a big presence in education but not having any programs for first-gen/low income students is weird af
I'd agree with you but then there wouldn't be any programs I can take advantage of.

good
Both are pretty hard to validate / probably had a bunch of fakers. And LGBTQ+ should not count as diversity. Most are well-off kids from major urban centers.
But rich white girls still have a diversity pipeline, right?
Probably they have other recruiting events targeting to these specific groups
