F-----D?

After scouring the internet for related topics and sifting through numerous message boards I've ended up here seeking advice. I'm a recent college graduate of a small private college with a degree analogous to under water basket weaving; my GPA isn't great either. It wasn't until about the end of my junior year that I thought about a job, or the real world for that matter. If you couldn't guess by now I'm unemployed, working the occasional temporary job to make some cash here and there. I may be flammed for asking for advice on breaking into I-Banking, but if anyone has come from a non-traditional background like myself and broke into I-banking could you share? I know me finding a decent I-banking/finance job is improbable, but is it impossible?

Thanks for the responses. What subject specifically should I be looking to obtain my Masters in? I have actually been looking into Masters programs, but are some areas of study more tangible than others for IB?
