Fail Class or take a W?

I am currently at a top 20 University that allows students to change a course grading style to a credit no credit. I am taking a computer science class that was just for fun and in no way related to my degree what so ever. Should I go all the way through this class and get no credit for it because I know I will not pass (this will not affect my GPA) but it will say NS on my transcript for non satisfactory. Or should I withdraw from the class and have a W? Thank you, all help is appreciated!

Is this Brown? If you stay in the class, and anyone ever asks you about it, you can just say you took it for self enrichment. I was in a similar situation but I just took the W. Banks won't care. I don't think they even look at your transcript until after they extend an offer. Only MBA programs really care, but if the rest of your transcript is solid, I don't think they'll care either.

This is not at Brown, but I am currently majoring in Finance, and was considering going for an MBA later on. I have heard many people talk about graduate programs caring. My current GPA is over a 3.6, so one class that was a non satisfactory will not matter, right? thank you very much

Withdraw from the class, took many classes if I wasn't going to get an A, I would take the W. I even left a previous university to get into a better school to reset my G.P.A to 0.00. It was a fresh start and no regrets.

Honestly, I have 3 or 4 W's in classes. I think it is easier to admit and explain a class you didn't like or had a pursuit in with the withdrawal rather just admitting the F saying I failed the class honestly.
