Failure to Appear (For Traffic Fine) - Impact
I received an offer last Friday, and they asked me if they were going to find anything on my record beforehand -- hinting towards hindering my ability to pass FINRA's background check.
I said no, however, I have a failure to appear for a traffic fine. It happened last fall because I was so busy with school, was far away, and was also participating in recruitment. The Failure to Appear resulted in my license becoming suspended. It will be reinstated tomorrow.
They will find out most likely because they will do a background check. Am I screwed? Should I reach out to them now? I am expecting an offer letter today.
