Family Office Estate Management
I'm in FP&A at an F20 and recently received an offer to work within the estate management side of the family office of a multi-billionaire in the US. The salary is a huge bump up from what I'm currently making three years out of college but I'd have minimal, if any, involvement with the investment side of the FO. Would this position still provide me with an opportunity to move to AM in the future or even post-MBA, at the very least? It seems fascinating in the short-term but I'd prefer to work at Blackrock, RockCo or something of the like beyond that.
