Favorite Banker terms

I like "gunner," but lately I've been hearing, "rock star."

It also seems like B-School must be a great time - classmates aren't shit heads trying to break into banking (probably PE now), have a little more cash, but are grateful to be away from work and concentrate on being a student/enjoying oneself. It really is the last hurrah.

Peasant. I know the guy who is the origin of the word. Started calling people peasants on wall st. in 1993. Don't everyone start saying it now.

I'm sure your friend made up the word... How proud you must be...

Big swinging dick. Sometimes pejorative or mocking, sometimes serious.

"Let's see what those BSDs up in M&A have to say about the multiples."

"That guy made VP and suddenly he thinks he's a BSD."

For the person who was clueless to what "GDI" meant I have some words of advice:

1.) Step away from textbook. 2.) Google the closest liquor store and the term "jagerbomb", proceed to print information. 3.) Leave library. 4.) Go to liquor store. Ask for Jagermeister and Red Bull. 5.) Follow instructions. 6.) Repeat instructions. 7.) Repeat again. 8.) "DON'T GET ON FACEBOOK" 9.) Proceed to the nearest bar.

You can thank me later.

What does going out and drinking have to do with not knowing what GDI means? A lot of people who don't hang around greeks would not hear that term much.

Don't worry, it's because he is gay.
