Federal Reserve RA Exit Opportunities
I am currently in the middle of my job search and have received an offer from the Federal Reserve as a Research Analyst. It's a two-year position where you mostly assist the bank with policy work and economists with publications. You don't need to do research yourself and the workload is fairly consistent (~40-45 hours a week). I am wondering if anyone has experience with what those who were RAs go on to do. I do not have a concrete career plan or long-term career goals, but I would like to know what industries/positions this leads to. Thanks in advance.
