Finance : Is that what i want ?

This article is more like a outlet for me :

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-08-15/goldman-…-trading.html

Gold Man Sach decided to cut more than 20 in Sales and trading. Wondering if its such a big number to be in news.

Also these kind of articles make me think may be its a bad decision to go from oil and gas technical industry to ER oil and gas. But to be honest whole reason for going in to oil and gas finance side is to understand this business.

I read Prize and Quest by Daniel Yergin, at some points i dont agree with him. But, that guy has year of experience with him and i want to gain same kind of experience to become expert in this field. I can talk all night about things which support peak oil theory. But, wondering if all this makes me a perfect candidate for oil and gas ER Job.....

But, what after 3-4 year when i am 32 and bored of ER Job ? I need to get answers of all these questions before i make a move..

Keep u all posted
