Finance Models

Being an economics major is quite the challenge moving towards financial anlaysis. Economic and econometric models are way simpler (or is it becoz I understand them better??).

I really wish I could stop time so that I can just learn about financial models for a good month. Then when I'm done I can restart time. 3 statement, DCFs, Valuation & Merger models is where the hardship lies. Time please stop.

Sleep six hours a night and study more. If you don't eat sugar or a ton of grains and add in some lifting then BOOM your energy levels will be mint. Theres probably a 70% chance that you have the time. Audit your lifestyle. If its that important to you than you can make it happen. It just won't be whimsical study at your leisure. Good luck.

Thanks Bayoumonkey. thats a cool name by the way. I am currently very busy and so I would need to do a lifestyle audit indeed. I am already putting in some heavy lifting work in the gym (its proving rather a addictive). I have to focus on it you're right. I have been devoting too much time to friends. I would like to have a constant scheduled time that gives me great productivity and focus. Any ideas on how I can do that?

Keep a bullet journal. Make entry's every time you complete a productive task. Review it at the end of the day. Having a lot of bullet points is allot more satisfying than it sounds. Schedules shouldn't be prisons but guidelines. Stick to it as much as possible. Currently working 50 hours a week School 12 Hours a week Training BJJ about 5 hours a week.

PRO TIP: Delete your social media apps and block Facebook on your phone. Do not watch TV or drink during the week. Watch how much time will present itself.

Read extreme ownership by Jocko and Listen to a couple of Dan Pena or Gary V podcasts. This will drill in the message of hard work and sacrifice.
