This is fairly accurate for my company.

To someone's MBA point above, if your company makes it a requirement to be considered a manager but won't give you a raise/pay for it then find a new company. There's a lot of MBA focused development programs and, at my company at least, the pay is considerably more than what undergrad rotation analysts get.

The ranges listed are median total compensation based on interviewing and discussions with friends.  Also, they are specifically centered around FP&A and strategic finance.

Analyst 1-3: $70-$95k with outliers being some tech and financial services companies

Manager: $100k to $160k. Again, the tilt towards higher pay is at select tech and financial services and could be up to $200k for a handful firms depending on seniority.

Any titles above the manager level and their pay is way too variable to even discuss in a meaningful way. Factors like company size, specific function, deferred pay, number of direct reports (note however you could still be an individual contributor at a director level), pay negotiations, and of course industry and company all play into comp.

Well in my case:

Entry was 80k plus 5%

Year 2 was 85.5 plus 10%

Year 3 was 105k and a much larger total comp (became a sr analyst) can't remember bonus

Basically you will have periodic jumps, especially when you switch firms.

All my data is from corp dev / strategy
