Financial Due Diligence Consulting Firms Outside of Big 4?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to move into FDD type of work within the next couple of years and was wondering if anyone knows of firms outside of the usual suspects (i.e. BIg/BDO/GT/McGladrey/etc.) that do the same sort of FDD work that a KPMG/PwC would do? For the sake of clarity, I'm looking for firms that do QoE/QoWC, analysis of debt/debt-like items, etc. and not necessarily strategic due diligence that a Bain would do.

Based on some searching, it seems as though Duff and Phelps + Alvarez and Marsal are strong, boutique players in this area. Are there any other, similar firms that would allow me to do this type of work in case Big 4 options don't work out? Additionally, is there a huge difference between D&P/A&M vs what a Big 4 firm would do other than potentially the size of the deals they pursue?

Thanks!
