Financial Job help

Hey team,

I am a young professional based in Melbourne looking for career advice to kick start my Finance profession.
I graduated with a Bachelors in Finance and Economics back in 2015.

I worked in a finance team for a Government department for 2.5 years. This was a financial accounting based role however was very broad in the fact I managed to complete tasks in project management, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting in addition to all the regular accounting work. During this time, I passed CFA level I and II in attempt to break into a purer financial services role. I have now moved on from this role in search of a new job.

I am wanting to get into an analyst, trading, advisory or even a portfolio administrator based role. All these jobs however require at least a few years’ experience within the financial market space, I am definitely capable of doing these jobs given the opportunity it is just seeming impossible trying to get a foot in. I have a good analytical background combined with strong communication and soft skills.
I am open to answering questions or offering more about my background.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
