Financial Leverage

There seem to be different formulas for Financial Leverage, viz. Change in EPS/Change in EBIT, PAT/EBIT, EBIT/PBT, Total Debt/Shareholders Equity, Net Assets/Net Worth, etc. Kindly clarify whether they are all correct and if so, under what condition each of them become applicable?
