I make submissions that get posted on the regular. Let me tell you it's not about flexing success or trying to look like hardos. It's just finding stuff that might be worth sharing to people interested in Finance. Mostly activism really. Huge supporter of the #DBnotaBB movement, and legit most submissions I've made were on that or Elon Musk.

What's your Elon opinion? Crazy genius or just crazy? To me, it seems that you have to think wild but to run the company you have to reign it in and be a responsible CEO.

I think Elon is a crazy genius. He sees the world differently, in a very Steve Jobs-esque kinda way.
Some odd reason why I feel like I can relate to Elon

But do you think this "different way of seeing things" is compatible with running a successful company necessary to make his ideas viable for the public?

I think Elon's ideas are out of touch with the general public anyways. Tesla became profitable finally, didn't it? Time just needs to catch up to Elon that's it. The public will eventually be onboard.

I mean more about his "antics". I think this is why Tesla added more people to the Board (incl. Larry Ellison) to try to assuage the unpredictability of Musk and his actions (tweets, etc.). My contention is that if Musk is now able to act in the more conventional CEO role while running his compay/ies, the company will be fruitful more quickly.

today someone sent me a screencap of a linkedin post - i think that he thought that it was cringeworthy - but i actually thought that it was motivating - funny how that happens. most people who i interact with on there are very pleasant. sometimes people ask for advice ('is stern a target?') which is also funny.

nah I thought that was funny too. the one I got today was written by a guy who had a 1.46 GPA in high school and then was in the army and then decided to go to college and made a post because he got an internship
