First Job Career Question
Hi all,
I just received an offer for an acquisitions analyst position at a small(ish) value-add investment firm in a secondary market. They target deal size of $2MM-$20MM and do roughly $50MM in volume a year. The starting salary is pretty low, and there isn't a bonus, but we can put equity into deals with no cap. The position is exactly what I was looking for in a job (acquisitions, smaller shop). I'm indifferent about the salary as I've saved up enough to live comfortably, and I want to use my first job to learn as much as possible, but I've heard that acquisitions experience isn't as valuable if the volume isn't there. I'm also unsure of exit ops from somewhere like this. Can someone give me some direction? I'm kind of clueless here. Thanks!
Message me, I can help you out. I was in the same boat and took the job, but unfortunately it did not work.
