First round FT Institutional Equity S&T with MS coming up soon

I'm a Business major with an upcoming interview with MS for Institutional Equity.

Does anyone know if Institutional Equity Analyst means sales, not trading? Or what does Institutional Equity analyst mean exactly? Anyone have any experience with that kind of interview? I'm a business major but do not have a great finance background. Will it be necessary to brush up on all that technical stuff for this kind of interivew? A friend of mine who did the SA interview told me the interview is more market-related. But I'm not sure if the FT interview is much different. ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

it was for an NY position in equities, but e-mail said both fixed income and equities superdays were postponed

they postponed it the day after the stock hit $11. At the time (and maybe even now) there was just too much uncertainty. people didnt even know if there would be a MS.

ill let you know when HR gets back to me
