First year analyst choice: AM or IB, EU or US

Hey guys

Title says it all.

I am a BSc Economics and Financial Engineering 2nd year student, about to start my 3rd. Double Degree from an English and French target, good grades. I did 2 years in London and my last year will take place in Paris. I'm doing a summer internship in AM, small shop but packed with talented guys.

So for 2022 full time analyst, I'm facing a 2x2 matrix: US (NYC or maybe something exotic like DFW) or Europe (London or Paris) and AM (doing an internship there, loving it, good at it) or IB (practical knowledge limited to BMC lol)

One of the most important factor for me is the propensity to meet interesting and challenging folks, my nightmare is to end up working with sweats or baboons who have no character. Another is the work life balance; I obv don't mind putting the long hours during the week but being able to have a small weekend trip somewhere or an all-nighter on Friday night is paramount.

What would you guys advise?
