First Year Analyst - Stub Bonus?
Really dumb question here but do 1st year analysts get a stub bonus in December after starting in July? Or is the bonus paid in full at the end of the first year?
Would love some guidance here!

So that's not how it works? Seriously wondering / I don't know
we not getting one bruh unless you happen to be at like UBS I think
So hold up - you get the full bonus after you've been there a year? So for Analysts who started in July, the full bonus will be paid out in July? I would have thought it was split up (stub year / the remainder) for your first year.
Can anyone provide some clarity there? thanks!
bruh yes we have to wait the whole damn year
Depends on bank- mine does Dec bonus cycle so I get a stub after 6 months and a full year bonus after 1.5 years
LMM bank A1. Will receive a small stub in December.
What bank is this?
What’s the bonus cycle for Evercore?
What does Moelis do?
You get the bonus pro-rata based on the months you have been at the firm at the end of the year. That’s at least what my contract says.
