Don’t go into energy dude
Would say yes if it was anything but energy. Going into an Energy coverage role will likely pigeon hole you and make exits harder.
If you can land an EB role in another coverage group that would def be way better and a smart move.
If those are your only two options, I'd suggest sticking with your MM role.
If you think you can perform better somewhere else and help more and do more sounds like it. I have friends who do energy. Good space. Obv focus is a bit more on renewables and climate friendly energy and that’s good. Even O&G still has some room for growth and being climate friendly for where it is needed. I would think move depends on you and what you think is best for you
