For Sales Traders & Financial Advisors/Wealth Managers - How do you adjust your Pitch?
We all know that the above FO jobs, and basically all FO jobs are more or less Sales.
With these jobs, comes the need to develop and maximize your ability to communicate with clients in order to bring business to the firm and generate commissions $$$.
We know that you have a default pitch, or marketing speech on how to sell your product. However, that Pitch would have to be manipulated during a client call based on your interpretation of the client's personality, aggressiveness or sense of humor.
How do you, Front Office Monkeys, evaluate your client's personality and how does that affect the way you pitch/market your products to them?
And do you think that building more "amicable" relationships with clients helps? or should you stay in the lines of the Professional vocabulary and avoid mixing the two?
Real examples would be appreciated.
