For those with FT positions, how do you actually read a resume over?

I know there is a large amount of information on what exactly companies are looking for, gpa cutoffs, etc... but I am interested in how some of you (who actually are involved in looking over resumes and choosing) literally look over resume(s).

Do you scan the entire thing and read more in depth if something catches your eye?

Do you check gpa/school first and then decide whether you will spend more time looking over it?

Or do you do something completely different...and so on?

Also, please include what type (BB, boutique, etc..) of company you work for and whether it is IBD, or HF, or CF, or AM, or CO, or whatever.

Thanks to anyone who replies. I thought it would be more interesting to hear about literally what you do with a resume and not just a generalization about the qualities you are looking for.
