FOX requires employees to disclose vaccination status, re-instates mask mandate

(among others)

In short,  FOX News Network has mandated employees disclose their vaccination status, with privileges such as optional masks and special treatment for those who are vaccinated, versus those who are not. Additionally, there appears to be a mask mandate for certain areas of the business (regardless of vax status) such as off-network control rooms that has been re-instated. FOX has not denied the claims, but has refused to comment on how the claims contradict positions put out by the network.

Thoughts?

My thoughts are this proves that the on-air opinion talent is conning the Trump rubes with the anti-vaxx adjacent messaging, when they all know better (and are vaxxed themselves).

"I don't know how to explain to you that you should care about other people."

"anti-vaxx adjacent" just means "telling people the truth" instead of treating your audience like retards and calling a common and safe antiparasitic drug dangerous horse de-wormer

If people carry those truths to foolish conclusions then so be it, but the news media shouldn't be in the business of noble lies. Especially when those noble lies are so crass, stupid, and easily disproven (as with all rhetoric surrounding ivermectin) that anyone with google and ten seconds can see what's going on and lose a little more faith in the institutions telling them to get vaxx'd

Exactly!  Rupert Murdoch got vaccinated before both Trump and Biden, and so are all the hosts.

Fox News is literally sending their viewers to their graves just to turn vaccines into another front for the culture war.  Terrible morally and for business.  Looks like what I've been saying has finally got some traction here.

I'm not sure if the anchors being vaccinated is the most controversial part here as being pro-vaccine and anti-mandate is a very legitimate position to have. I find that the disclosure of vaccination status and mask mandates to be the more controversial elements here. Was also interested to hear if people were going to jump into the distinction of private business and public government but I think I'll have to wait a bit to see. Definitely need to go grab some popcorn as this is going to be an interesting discussion.

Tucker, their biggest host, is hugely anti-vax and makes up nonsense about its side effects all the time.

In May he claimed 3000 Americans were killed by vaccines

In August he told a story about a guy in Nebraska who died 12 hours after getting vaccinated.  What he didn't mention was he got hit by a train!

Thankfully Hannity is finally telling his viewers to get vaccinated.

I laughed that Biden's caretakers tweeted he was mandating vaccines like Fox News. Good jab.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.
