LEAVE REVIEW HERE
Listen on iTunes | Stitcher | Spotify | All WSO Podcasts
All you have to do is leave a review and then e-mail [email protected] with a screenshot or username or tell her what you said. There's a delay for the reviews to be published, so as long as you email right after leaving it, nobody will be able to "steal your review". Once it goes up and she confirms, she'll send you the instructions.
As always, thank you to the WSO member community.... I wonder how many reviews we could get and if we could get to #1 in Business under New and Noteworthy :-)
I'll keep everyone updated how it's going here....

Great work! Thanks!
correct me if I'm wrong but the podcast is hosted by Alex and speak mainly about VC. Can we start to get some more IB or PE speakers about their experience and etc. I understand that it's SF based podcast, but it will be so much better if we can touch more on IB or PE outside of tech and VC.
Hey Bill, that is the Moving Up podcast, and yes, that is hosted by Alex and has more of a VC bent.
This is a 100% NEW podcast (called Wall Street Oasis - I know, very creative) where we focus more on pure finance and interview the most successful and inspirational members & mentors from the WSO community.
This is exactly why I started this new podcast....Another difference about this new podcast is that almost all of our guests remain anonymous (similar to WSO) so that they can share more openly.
Hope you enjoy it! Patrick
I just subscribed. Will start listening. I think the podcast would be higher quality by providing more specifics rather than just motivational stories. It should be more 50-50. I think the vampire squid was pretty good starting out with Alan Li speaking about his encounters in GS TMT and more specifics about what they did and the technical stuff. Once, people start to bring guest, 80% of the story are motivational stories on how they get there. After listening to 50 of those, you just stop feeling motivated but rather annoying. You start to think "Great, this guy have a tough life, so does everyone else". I particularly enjoy the episode from vampire squid that speak about term sheets and went into good details on how it was crafted and etc. It touches on the deal cycle of VC, which is very different from term sheets in the credit world. So, if you can somewhat duplicate that in the new podcast, I think it will be very helpful in providing context across different fields. Helps people gain new perspective on something that you can't get elsewhere.
