FRM Qualification any good?
Hi All
I am sitting the FRM qualification in November (and looking to sit CFA 1 in Dec).
I suppose the first question would be - is this a good idea? From my understanding there are elements of overlap between the two courses (bit of equities, fixed income stuff) so I'm hoping its very doable with my day job.
The main reason behind this thread however is to seek an understanding at how valued FRM is? Is it something that makes a good difference on the CV/ any remuneration? Is it only valued in Risk or does it weigh something when applying for front office roles within Markets?
Any information on how useful this is to one's career is welcome. Thanks
