From IB to PE RE/Infra

I have been at a top bbb for the past 2 years and I'm looking to move to PE real assets (RE and/or Infra). Since I am not in the RE or Infra group I have literally 0 related deal experience on my resume and was wondering what I should emphasise in my cover letter to counterbalance that. Hinting that my interest in the sector is genuine and that I am a quick learner comes to mind first but is also pretty dull, would you suggest anything that these firms are really after/would make the CL stand-out? Thanks!
