From Trading (market making) to PE after an MBA

Hi guy,

I am thinking to take a MBA in St. Gallen to switch from Investment Banking - Trading (Structured Products market making) to PE because I do not see opportunities in Trading as many investment banks are closing desks and downsizing ops.

Do you think it is possible to break into PE even if I had no deal exposure in the past and my only experience is within public equity trading if I attend a MBA program in St.Gallen? (On the other hand I have the CFA®.

PS: I am not working in Switz. and I do not speak German
