I would avoid teaming up with other junior people and approaching HR, the senior people would view this as pretty hostile... I mean you knew the comp going in, right? This is what you signed up for.
My advice is start looking for another job. Then on the way out when they ask why you're leaving, tell them its because the comp is low...
Totally agree. You either walk or take it.
You should approach the partner and tell him not hr. Make it clear this is below market and have comps. Don't just take it that's stupid. You only get what you ask for in life. No one will hand you a raise.
