FT Partners Interview Process

I'm interviewing for FT Partners first round summer analyst, which I heard is very technical. Does anyone have any insight into how technical it can get? I'm pretty solid on all valuation methods + accounting, but I'm worried they might ask something very specific to LBOs for ex. or something with PIK Interest, etc..

Interviewed FT recently. Very technical, but not overly niche/highly specific material just know the basics inside and out and you will be fine. Make sure you don't bring up anything you're not confident talking about. Expect follow up questions and interruptions to ask for clarifications, etc.. Also be ready to talk about how you're ready to grind/you know what you're getting yourself into. HR is also very slow getting back to you.

um..thanks for your comment but i got the offer already, they called me yesterday...and dude in banking interview, you should expect them to answer you back within a week,if its more than a week, considering yourself just get dinged

congrats on the offer. This site seems to have extremely opposite views of this firms. However, I am sure it will look good on your resume for full time.

One person told me 4, but I thought it was 2-3. If they gave you a 2nd round, that means there must be 1-2 spots left.

dude, london, chill out bro, if you dont like it then you dont have to comment on this thread, leave it man, i dont know why people are so against this firm, granted that it is a sweatshop, working analyst till death, but where doesnt, Houlihan is just as bad, moelis is even worse...as long as they pay me close to street then i have nothing to complain about, at the end of the day, its about $$$ and deal experience
