FTI Consulting Restructuring Practice
Hi,
I have an upcoming interview for a position in FTI Consulting's restructuring group and I wanted to know if anyone had any thoughts on the following:
- Compensation
- Differences in work compared to banking RX
- Reputation compared to other consulting firms. (Generally know they are considered good for RX consulting)
- Exit opportunities
- Any other insights people have
I have read the threads already available and they were somewhat helpful but wanted to get some additional info if possible.
Anyone have experience in this area?
I too would benefit from additional information. TTT
FTI is cream of the crop for RX consulting, significantly better work/life balance at the cost of lower comp. Less transaction focused and more accounting heavy than banking.
Exit opps are very mixed and depends on the work you do and how you brand yourself going forward.
Update: Interviewed successfully and was selected for the role. I will be joining FTI's RX practice.
