Full-time Investment Banking Recruiting Advice

Hi everyone! I am an incoming third-year student at a top Canadian business school, and I am thinking of recruiting for a full-time IB role (2023 start) and wanted advice on starting prep for technical interview questions and also on networking. My profile:

  • Did a pro-bono strategy consulting project in first year summer

  • Doing an accounting role (in capital markets accounting) at a major Canadian bank this year

  • Accepted Big 4 offer for next summer (planning on doing 2 months in their deal advisory practice, 2 in audit)

  • Started cold-emailing for a part-time role at a search fund for the fall

Any insights or advice is appreciated! Thank you :)
