Full time MSc or part-time with internships? (UK)

Hi all,

I have a BA from a good but obscure UK school and I'm doing an MSc at a UK top-5 in September to prove my quant skills, with a view to go into operations or strategy consulting. I've had some useful and unusual experience but no brands, so my options are a: begin the MSc full-time and hope the OCR people in October overlook the lack of brands (other than the target school), or b) switch to the part-time programme and intern along the way (more debt and graduate aged 26), and apply to OCR at the begining of second year with the extra experience.

I've been lurking on this forum for a few months and I'd really appreciate anything you guys can suggest - it's a big decision

I really advise you to do an internship as work experience is the best way to improve your chances in your career. I have done an internship in London last year - very good experience and better to have valuable work experience on your CV rather than several diplomas and degrees.
