Fwding Resume to HR for recruiting
Hey guys, so 2 ppl at a particular BB have agreed to fwd my Resume to HR for internship position. Would that help me since more people at a company are vouching for me, or could it hurt me--I heard that too. Please let me know what everybody think.
Thanks a lot all!-

Yes. Typically, most banks have an internal referral system. It doesn't necessarily increase your odds of getting an offer, but it increases your odds of having your resume looked at for more than 15 seconds and maybe increases your odds of getting an interview.
You are going to be blackballed from that bank forever if your resume get's sent to HR from two different people.
No, not really.
Most banks don't have a referral compensation program for college hires. If someone is forwarding a college student's resume to HR, they're doing it out of the goodness of their own heart- not to get a referral check.
Seriously, does it hurt to have more than one person forward your resume? I'm not as close to higher-up contacts as I'm with VPs or Associates, and so not sure if they will go out of their way. But I heard MDs carry far more weight and always go to them first. Pretty confused. Any thought?
