Generally, how big does a portfolio have to be to have more than portfolio manager managing it?
Generally, how big does a portfolio have to be to have more than portfolio manager managing it? I will give an example. Say someone has a portfolio of $10 million being managed by a private bank. Will one portfolio manager do all the work or would it be a team of portfolio managers? I guess what I am trying to ask is how much money are individual portfolio managers tasked with before there is a need to have another person join the management of one portfolio?
