Georgetown SFS vs Vanderbilt vs CMC

Hi. I recently got off the waitlist at some schools. My top choices are:

  • Georgetown School of Foreign Service (SFS): Full-ride

  • Claremont McKenna College (CMC): 15k scholarship

  • Vanderbilt: No scholarship offered/Full pay

I also want to mention that I am an international student from Asia and would likely go back home right after graduation (especially given the coronavirus economic and visa uncertainty). Therefore, schools with more internationally recognized brand names would be a bit better I guess.

Thank you.

So Georgetown would be $200k-$300k less than Vandy or CMC? I don’t think you can pass that up. Georgetown has great recruiting that is better or on-par with Vandy or CMC, especially for NY.

Georgetown all the way. A full ride there is amazing. Any idea on why they gave you that much money?
