Get better at Professional (Client Facing) Writing?

After graduating with less writing intensive majors (economics and math), I realized that I absolutely suck at professional writing and am horrendous at writing client facing materials. Having dealt with numbers for 4 years, I lack finesse with words and honestly hate writing these reports anyways. If the investment is good, let me just show you the numbers. Why waste time on flowery languages if I can show the idea with numbers and straight forward logic?

Alas, we work for our clients and I recognize the need in "packaging". My current style of telling-it-as-it-is just simply isn't good enough and is costing me a lot of time with edits, re-edits, etc.

So I was wondering what advice the community has to offer on improving. I am willing to take classes if that is what it takes.

Thanks in advance.
