Getting a job offer while having quit last job a few weeks prior
I am in the last stages of getting a job offer at an EB but I am a bit concerned because throughout my interviews I talked about my experience as if I was still working at my current job (which I was), but I had quit my current job somewhere between the 3rd and last stage of the interview process. I'm worried when they do the background check they'll see that I was not working at the firm all of October, had done interviews with them during this time, and received my offer in November while not being explicit about when I had actually quit. Will they rescind the offer due to this alone? How bad really are these "gaps" in your working history? Does it even count if it's < month?
