Getting into Management Consulting as Experienced Hire
Hey folks, so been quite a few years since my last post and I built alot of experiences so far. But now I see the value in getting into Management Consulting to try out multiple industries and then perhaps exit into MBA. I'm looking to get into some Tier 2 up kind of firm. What do you all suggest is my best mode of attack, here are my stats.
School: Non-Target Canadian (3.6 GPA), majored accounting
Experience:
1) 1 year as a Manager in an E-Commerce consulting company that specializes in building e-commerce centers for clients around the world, all clients are FT500 retailers and have worked in Canada and the US. This experience builds upon the Amazon experience where I was an operator there now I am building these fulfillment centers.
2) 2.5 Years @ Amazon in various Operations Manager roles.
Job Content at Amazon includes running operations, dealing with planning capacities. Have been running the operations at all kinds of Amazon Buildings, and was even in Amazon Logistics. I had a direct headcount of 300-500 frontline workers/front line supervisors.
3) 1 year in Transmission and utilities industry as a Project Management Analyst
Thanks everyone!
