Getting into Qatalyst Partners?
I'm very interested in Qatalyst Partners but, I've heard their ultra-selective with their hires. I haven't been able to find much on WSO besides one thread on their history but, was wondering if anyone had insights into what their interviews/recruiting process is like.
I am an American but, I'm living in London, so info on either their SF or UK office would be great. Thanks.
OCR only at Wharton
Good luck
I was expecting to see something like that. Anyone know about London? LSE or LBS?
Doubtful. My contact works in SF, but they probably only take 2 (?) in London vs. ~5 to 6 in SF every year. It's going to be a matter of networking to get the interview
meh pretty standard recruiting process, final rounds in SF. Didn't seem ultra-selective when I went through it, but a strong interest in tech is a must. It's true they don't hire a lot, but the application pool is a lot smaller too since they're so niche
I think this is kind of funny since you so nonchalantly said its a standard recruiting process there are certified members on this board who would give both there nuts to get just one interview there...
Be thankful for opportunities you have...
What firm do you work with now? Did you get a Qatalyst offer?
Very small boutique in London. Contact someone at the office and try to network your way in.
any insight on interview? how technical? how much focused on "why tech"? thanks
Does anyone know about that?
I don't know about other schools but they recruit fairly heavily from Wharton. They're definitely hot shit right now, but based on the people I know who were given offers, they don't really seem to be "give both nuts" caliber...
what do you mean by "give both nuts" caliber?
yea they are owned by jefferies
They don't recruit at Stanford...? :O
