Getting Out of Consulting "Behind the Curve"?
Anyone make the transition from consulting to industry "behind the curve"? How did it go? Was it worth it?
I would be taking a pretty substantial pay cut (~30%) if I were to get out... I am at the junior partner level but would be taking a hit due to a limited number of years of work experience and no MBA (and have no desire to get one). I'm not sure that I necessarily am done with consulting, but I do want to get some operational experience and see what life on the other side of the table feels like to help drive the decision.
