This is similar to the people who ask about getting into an Ivy/GS TMT/Wharton MBA/form my own hedge fund. It all depends. We need more details. And that's in jest to your question, at least partially, because too many people ask for advice with too general questions.

Why are you buying her something? Birthday? You screwed her sorority sister (even years after you graduated)? Guilty about not spending time with her? Shits and giggles? Because you're a good guy?

What have you bought her before and what does she have? Buying a woman a watch who has one and doesn't necessarily care about watches probably won't appreciate the gesture. She'll be happy to you, but it'll be a waste of money for you. And if you've bought her diamond studs before she probably won't be impressed if you buy the slightly larger equivalent. If it's jewelry, figure out what she likes. Designer stuff like earrings, bracelets, etc, or does she want a her first set of diamond stud 2c earrings?

But you know your wife. Measure spend to what will make her and you happy. Personally, my wife could care less about flashy anything. When we were younger and I was working all the time thinking I was a baller I'd bring jewelry home that cost more than $7k after a 2 week intl trip everytime. Even though I had known her for 12 years before we got married, I thought that would make her happy. Not at all. A 3-4 day weekend, or week, not even in some exotic location was a much better thing for her. Go to the Vineyard or off season

hii all,
I'm not sure what to get my wife for our 30th wedding anniversary. She has lots of jewelry over the years, I do want to get her something special. We are going to a resort for the weekend and I have massage, facial, manicure and petticure already scheduled. I would like a females point of view. thanks

If someone would give me a $7k watch, I would sell it back and invest the money.. I personally find it a waste of money - and waste of your time put into hard work to get that money..
Some ideas of a better gift, of my taste,
- dinner at any restaurant of her choice +2 of her friends all paid
- cruise in the Galapagos island or another cool trip
- professional massage delivered at her house for a whole year
- diving certification course
- gift card at store such as Valentino or Jimmy Choo

Bed & Breakfast for a long weekend. Perfect time of year for it, especially if your room has a fireplace and youre nearby a place to go hiking. Bring a book. Its intimate, you both get a break from the world, good home cooked meals wothout having to cook or clean up. Plow her like a field.... Dont bring your computer and only check your phone twice a day.

Your time is more valuable to her and to be blunt... If youre asking gift ideas from an anonymous forum thats a bad way to go. You should know what shed love to have, not some generic idea like "diamond studs"... Cmon man.

Sounds pretty solid. Is it standard to fuck in a B&B? With the thin walls and old furniture and creaking floorboards I wonder if it would raise some eyebrows...
