GMAT Question - Worth retaking?

Just took the GMAT
Total: 700
Quant:47
Verbal:38

Other: 3.6 GPA from non-target undergrad
two years as analyst at boutique investment banking firm in Chicago
aiming for top tier B-School (HBS, Wharton, Kellogg...)

Is it worth retaking again to get a 720 or 730 as I probably wouldn't score any higher than that? Any advice would be helpful.

First, congratulations on doing well on the GMAT. I'm actually taking it later today. Second, I'd suggest to just relax and enjoy knowing that you have done as well as you have. There are many people out there who would love to have the background you have and the success you have.

I wouldn't bother stressing over 20 or 30 points. You got what you got now move on. Stop putting so much emphasis on what school you go to. If you get into your top school great, if you don't, well then it's their loss. I know people who came out of those programs and they're fricken idiots. It's not the school or program, but what you do while in it. Take every opportunity that comes your way and plow through it like a fricken bull. Set goals, take ownership, get to know your professors, use their network to your benefit, don't just sit in class and take exams.

Good luck
