GMAT verbal
Any advice on a way to improve GMAT verbal score?
I don't have a problem with the math, but the verbal section gets me. (English is not my first or second language) Anyway, any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

1) Read the Wall Street Journal, Economist, etc. everyday. for reading comp practice, sentence correction, idioms, etc. 2) Get the Offical Guide verbal book 3) Go to gmatclub.com and check out some of the verbal exercises
thanks for the advice
I second that. Read anything well written; also read the science section of the ny times. You'll find some dry articles which you're likely to run into on the GMAT. I actually prefer the Powerscore sentence correction and crit reasoning material, but you can't go wrong with mgmat.
manhattan gmat guides and a lot of practice.
i think its too late for you to get a verbal GMAT score lift simply from reading - unless you plan on taking the exam a few years and about a few hundred books from now...
I'd also suggest the Manhattan GMAT, especially for sentence correction and the math aspect. For a more detailed guide of how to get a 700+ GMAT score you can read this blog that a member posted - it's really detailed and quite useful I've found! Hope this helps! http://www.businessbecause.com/schools/the-700-gmat-guide.htm. What kind of schools are you interested in applying to?
gmatclub.com , you will find everything there
I was in a similar situation...
Practice a lot and consistently. Try to sneak in an hour a day. By the end, you should have done nearly a 1000 questions.
And also, don't focus on one topic solely for too long, swap days.
