I've been losing my vision for quite some time. When I participated in recruiting last year I mentioned this to my recruiter (post interviews). At the time my vision was slightly better than it is now. I went to my interviews and did my best to secure some summer offers.
However, now my eyes have gotten considerably worse. I am just barely able to see the when I can and cannot cross the street (and that's only because of the lights). I have a foldable cane now, and yeah...
I'm just wondering if I should reach out to the firm again and give them an update (I'd hate to show up and have everyone be shocked)? At the same time I'm wondering how it'll impact my chances for a full time offer?
I saw there was a blind trader at JP Morgan... so that's good news I guess.
