Goldman Sachs 2017 Superday

Hey guys! I recently (Jan 10) completed the superday for GS in the Jersey City office. This particular position is in the Finance division for the Controller's function. I'm hoping maybe I can connect with other prospective hires? Also, can anyone tell me how long it usually takes to hear back from this division? I'm over-thinking like crazy over here!

Was this only Finance? Or did you see other divisions having superdays too? I know they have the superdays across the river at the Jersey office, even if you applied for NYC SA positions.

I completed a super day for the GS finance division (risk management) back in November. I received my offer by phone call around 2pm about four business days later. It could take up to 10 business days depending on how many positions they are looking to fill in the controllers department and how many applicants were at your department. To put you a little bit at ease, if you made it to superday and had good conversations with your interviewers you'll be fine. About 30% of superday kids get the job, as opposed to the 2% chance you had to get to superday. Best of luck to you, hope to see you in the summer.

Wow, that was really encouraging.. Thank you! It's so hard not to watch your phone 24/7 anticipating the offering call... It seems like 2pm is the standard calling time for them.
