Goldman Sachs Alternatives Capital Markets and Strategy Group
Hey all,
Haven’t seen too much content on Goldman’s Merchant Banking division. Curious about their new group, the “Alternatives Capital Markets and Strategy Group”.
Really new to finance and not completely sure what exactly they do... it’s been described as similar to PE but is also a new group. Have no plans to cut my two years of banking short and apply to an analyst role (like my group and not looking to sever ties!), but am curious about this new group at GS and whether this would be a good opportunity later on.
