Goldman Sachs Bank Debt Portfolio Group
I recently was looking at Goldman's website and saw an opening for an analyst position for the Bank Debt Portfolio Group. I was wondering what are the hours / pay like. Is it like investment banking or like a finance division (9-6)?
Thanks!
Anyone have any information on this?
They sit on the same floor as the Americas Financing Group (AFG) which is basically all of Goldman's Capital Markets stuff (ECM/DCM/LevFin/Structured/Derivatives/etc.) Potential to move into any of those groups of you network and they work closely with Lev Fin. Know of one guy who moved from that group to Lev Fin but he had prior experience in Lev Fin at a different BB
Do you know anything about comp / hours?
Which office is it for?

Hey guys,
I know there has been some talk on here about what Goldman's BDPG does and how it is a pretty solid opportunity. I had recently interviewed with them and was hoping to get some of your thoughts about the opportunity:
-Based out of Salt Lake City -Sits under the Finance function
Is there a chance to move into IBD from here (expecting LevFin to be the closest fit)? Does Goldman respond well to office transfers, if suppose you want to move to NYC after spending a year or two in Salt Lake City?
Any thoughts or insights would be greatly appreciated.
Interested to learn more about this as well.
A simple google search yielded this: http://clubs.wharton.upenn.edu/wufc/GoldmanPresentation.ppt
This is awesome. Thank you so much.
I have come across this already - doesn't answer my question hence my reason for posting here.
