What's your question? If you put the accurate grades on the resume when you were interviewing, I don't see a problem

No worries. Background checks aren't there to see you fail. They are in place to prevent the firm from hiring potential frauds. As long as you didn't lie on your application, you're golden ;)
Congratz and enjoy the Spring Programme! A lot of those interns seem to get invited back for a summer.

application clearly stated that you need a minimum of some sort grades-wise (i am guessing, it is usually "UCAS points amounting to... and at least ... A levels"
if you checked that you have that, and you actually don't, you are probably fucked just the truth
maybe background check-people are lazy, but i wouldnt hope for that
A couple of questions, do you have contacts at the bank? Did you get a referral? Is your Uni a semi-target and perhaps you aren't aware of this? And lastly, as long as you didn't click a box confirming that you have met the minimum UCAS requirement then I would take this as a blessing and work your ass off to get a summer return offer.
A couple of pointers: do not underestimate the competition and at this point in time, as unusual as it is to say, Goldman is your best chance of getting a summer internship. It will be extremely difficult to get interviews next year if you don't meet the minimum requirements, attend a non-target and have no connections (networking).
Had no contacts at all, did not get a referral and i can promise you 100% my university is not a targeted one at all! what i did was completely work my socks off every being rejected nearly everywhere. One thing i did do is really take my time to understand Goldman Sachs's culture and nail application/Cover letter and really tailored it to my division of interest.
