Goldman Sachs RMD VP Salary?
On my throw away account here... Wondering what the base salary is for VP in Goldman Sachs Realty Management Division. I'm speculating somewhere between $160k-$180k. Anyone familiar?

Perhaps an easier question to answer is, how much do GS VP salaries vary by division? Should I expect IB rate, or something lower? If lower, by how much?
It will depend based on which vertical at Goldman the RMD is positioned under. Rumor is RMD is going to be phased out as the odd stand alone group that partners with other divisions and just be absorbed up. With their relocation from Irving to downtown Dallas they are working to increase the level of talent they attract and retain.
Having said that, $160k-180k does seem high, and I'd discount it by ~20% for those in IMD RMD doing AM.
Great info, thank you! So RMD is being phased out by being absorbed into other divisions, but they are hiring to strengthen the overall RE service line? Would that statement be correct?
Yes. Its more or less going away with it as a separate division and simply making it a group within whatever vertical it was previously under. It's still grapevine chatter, but most agree it will happen within the next 2-yrs. Lots of people care about titles and this helps, along with the move downtown helps with-- like previously mentioned -- recruitment efforts.
From what I understand the US Real Estate group is being targeted for healthy expansion. They took enough space for ~1000 employees that will be focused on RE. More tech and ops style will still be housed in space in Irving.
