Good apartment locations for BofA?
What are some good, decently priced areas near 1 Bryant Park for an analyst at BofA? Probably looking for a 4BR place within a 15 minute walk. I've heard Hell's Kitchen or Chelsea would both be solid options, but wanted to see if anyone on here has some thoughts. Thanks,
Hell's Kitchen is probably your best bet, but there's also some cheap apartments near K Town because it fucking sucks to live there that you could look into.
I would avoid the areas directly by BofA. Going south you end up in some of my least favorite areas (between the offices and Madison square park) as does going north (midtown/Times Square).
I think your best bets are further south (union square park, East or west village). But for more affordability you probably want to head over to Chelsea, that’s probably your best bet. I would avoid going too far toward Central Park, very tourist heavy.
Check the buildings around 42nd and 11th (Sky, Silver Towers, River place, Atelier, ...). Great price/quality ratio and fairly close to Bryant Park. My best friend worked at baml and lived over there, he loved the convenience.
The convenience to work is nice, but it isn’t very convenient to anything else in nyc and is pretty out there (area doesn’t really feel like nyc). That matters less if you are working a ton of hours and want the nicer apartment (they are newer and will have more amenities). I’ve personally prioritized convenience to restaurants and the areas I want to walk to. But that is a tradeoff to make.
A good 'true 4BR' apt is rare in Manhattan.
Interested to hear what you find.
You'll probably see a bunch of 3BR flexes with a big living room.
most locations in Manhattan and many in Brooklyn / Queens works. subway wise Bryant park is next to the BDFM (Chelsea, Queens, West Village, lower UES, LES, Soho, UWS), the 123 (Tribeca, Chelsea, UWS) and the ACE (Tribeca, Chelsea, West Village, UWS) and 7 train (Queens, Hell’s Kitchen, Chelsea). also if want to walk from Grand Central there are a ton of options from the 4, 5, 6
You can probably find a decent quality apartment, no fee, in Hell's Kitchen by Centrla park for around 2.3k a month. DO you really want 3 roommates when you're working long hours?
Area aroudn BOFA is horrible. KTOWN has foot-traffic every single day, and the abundance of drunk people and restaurants means smells, noise, and other stuff that comes with that. there's also a ton of bums living around time square.
Hell's kitchen area as close to Central Park, West Village, are two areas that I recommend. Although West Village is pretty pricey, however, the atmosphere is great and it's close to everything.
Dolores tempore assumenda minus quasi mollitia. Aperiam quo quidem non. Consequatur natus quasi ut magnam ex sed.
