Good idea to call the firm you applied to if vising the city? (I live on the other side of the country)
Question, would it be ok to give a firm I recently applied to a call and let them know I am visiting the city the office is located in (west coast, I live in east coast) and would love to stop by, see the firm, talk? Its for a analyst position, big firm, not many employees. Or just wait till they contact me? If they ever do. If it helps, I applied over the weekend as soon as the posting went up. I am visiting the west coast Thursday evening for the weekend.
